Welcome to the Ramapo Valley Knights of Columbus Council #5846 website.  We're very happy that you stopped by to take a look and find out what we are about and what we do.

The Ramapo Valley Knights of Columbus was founded in 1966 in our current home of Oakland, New Jersey.  Through the years, the Council has worked, and continues to work, closely with Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church and the community of Oakland.  In addition to helping to provide funds for various projects, the members are also active participants in the parish and community it serves.

Working either with the Church or on our own, we have helped to raise money for various worthy charities.  The Council is also an annual sponsor of the Oakland Town Carnival and, in conjunction with other Councils across the state, organizes and runs a yearly Free-Throw Shooting Contest for the kids.  We also run an annual coat drive that helps to provide warm winter coats for those who need them most.

For more on the history of the Knights of Columbus or if you'd like to contact us, please use the links on the left to do so.  If you are interested in renting our hall for your special occasion, please click here for more information.

Thank you for visiting our website and we hope you come back soon since we're constantly updating it and we always have something going on.
