Welcome to the Ramapo Valley Knights of Columbus Council #5846 website. We're very happy that you stopped by to take a look and find out what we are about and what we do. The Ramapo Valley Knights of Columbus was founded in 1966 in our current home of Oakland, New Jersey. Through the years, the Council has worked, and continues to work, closely with Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church and the community of Oakland, New Jersey.

What We Do

Our Ramapo Valley Council 5846 helps to provide funds for various projects.   We raise money for various worthy charities and annually support many aspects of our community, including the town carnival and Memorial Day parade.  In conjunction with other Councils across the state, we organize and run a yearly Free-Throw Shooting Contest for kids. We also run an annual coat drive that helps to provide warm winter coats for those who need them most. For the last few years, we have coordinated and hosted a Horseshoe Tournament Registration Form.  Our members are also active participants in the parish and community we serve.

Interested in Joining?

• Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to men who are at least 18 years of age and are practical Catholics in union with the Holy See.
